| Description：Saccharum spontaneum L. is about 1 to 2 meters high and belongs to a perennial herbaceous plant. Its subterranean stem is well developed with a straight stalk. There are white powders under the node and dense white fur grows at the tip and the node. There is fur on the ligule and the linear saw-toothed leaves are sharp. Flowering starts in fall and winter with white or whitish brown flowers. It usually grows in the dry riverbed where rocks and gravel are plenty or the stony soils by the river. A sea of blossoms can be appreciated before and after Moon Festival. |
