| Description of Terrain：Chukuo Pingding Mountains is a hill plateau and 322-meters an elevation (or height) above sea level. The east side is broken ridges of the Cingshuei Riverbank. The farmers in the plateau of Pingding community grow up tea trees and have a Tea Promotion Center. Now there are Yuanding, Yiadong Tour Orchards. Chukuo Mountains were the basement of fighting Japanese of Jian, Yi, Ke, Tie (Ke, Tie-Hu). This place is the boundary of fighting Japanese in the World War II and so there are many trenches here. |
| Description of Geology：The old alluvial deposits have been weathering for such a long time that the soils become extremely acid with an excellent drainage property. There are reddish brown and yellowish red soils mixed with gravels or rocks. |
