| Description：Linnei Township of Yunlin County produces papayas abundantly. The local farmers’ association is active in promoting this product by giving a slogan of ‘Linnei has the reddest papayas in Taiwan. A papaya carnival was held on October 18, 2003 and belles in sexy outfits were invited to attract the crowd. Papayas produced in Linnei have excellent quality and they not only taste sweet, but also are good at dispelling the effects of alcohol, help digestion and stomach function. It benefits the health to eat papayas as fruit or as a dish. |
